Ken,

I just wanted you to know that I think it is amazing the idea you came up with to raise money for awarness and the memorial fund. I just finished reading about it in the newspaper. I went to school with Taylor at LaSalle. I talked to her a few times but didn't get to know her that well and I wish I had of. She had so many friends and so many people who cared about her. I soon came to realize Taylor was such a talented young lady and I\m sure you know that. You must be so proud to be her father.

After I found out Taylor passed away I became a whole new person. First off, after finding out about ARVC and the symptoms, I had to go have an ECG done myself because I had all symptoms except the fainting. It came back normal. I am just one of, I'm sure many people, who you have edcated about ARVC which I am also sure not many people knew about until, unfourtnatly, after Taylor had passed. Doing fundraisers and raising awareness is actually going to save someones life if it hasn't already thanks to you and all people involved in the process.

Before Taylor passed away, there was many people I looked down upon or that I would talk about behind their backs and so on. After she passed, it made me realize, if one day, one of the people I called names, or talk about behind their back, pass away, I am going to hate and not forgive myself for a very long time if ever. Now, I try so hard to be friends with everyone. If I have nothing nice to say, I won't say anything, and because of this, I am a much happier person then I was a few years back.

I am now in my last year of the Social Service Worker program at St.Lawrence College. I cannot wait to be finished and persue a career job helping people with everyday problems.

I think about Taylor often. She has helped me become the person I am today and she got me to this point in life where I wouldn't want it any other way. I want you to know that if she helped me, someone who barley knew her, could you even begin to imagine all of the people out there in our community and beyond who she has had an impact on? She is a true angel and has touched me and many others in so many positive ways.

I just wanted you to know I really look up to you for what you are doing to raise awaress. I unfortunatly was not able to make it to the fundraising event but I am aware that it was a huge success!

I wish you and your family the best. Cherish the memories you have forever.

Thank you,

Courtney
